Build Us An Efficient Public Transportation System ASAP

Do we really need another "peaceful demo" in KL regarding the fuel hikes? Is it really going to make a difference?! Is that the best certain leaders can come up with?

Well I say! Why not MAKE a difference. Sure, we can protest and have street demos and voice out our anger etc, but is it effective?

I think people should be more rational and realistic, and instead of just whining and moaning and complaining, why not look for more constructive ways to look at and solve a problem? Like our friends here at http://www.pahlawan.com.my/ , they came up with a Directive that we can e-mail to our MPs and ADUNS concerning matters that concerns both you and me: public transportation.

I have an ideal outlook that, if all Malaysians embrace their "Spirit of Pahlawan", our country would be at a far better state :) :

"To restore the spirit of patriotism among Malaysians;
To face and deal with issues rationally;
To look at challenges with a solution-driven and Malaysian mindset. In other words,
Think Malaysian, do the right thing "

Hello editor,

Hmm..this is definitely a good approach of increasing the efficiency of the public transport.

Getting views and opinion form the public will enable us to get a proper and acceptable solutions and suggestions for increasing the public transport to a more efficient for the benefit of our rakyat and the country in general.

Is da peaceful demo really "peaceful". More so, its effective? I dun think so.

This is better. Hope other bloggers start doing stuff that matters and benefit to the public more.

Why not have 2 wheelers taxi .
Just like in Thailand, they have motorbike taxi that take 1 pillion passenger .Cheap and reliable way to travel short distance .
Their motorbike taxis operates as a team not just offering transport but doubles up as Rukun Tetangga unit.
Those who have visited Thailand will know it is very effective.
No wonders the Thais dont have much complains on snatch thieves on motorbikes, as they know it is difficult to escape from those taxis. Some of them carries a simple 5 KM range 2 way radio for communication.
